Inspiration behind designing this piece?

AKKI: I designed this piece on the COMPLEX "One of One" show where I was a featured designer. I experimented with different ways to elevate the look of brocade, and this one hit home. Immediately fell in love with it and decided that it was the first piece of FW22. The back is a 3D logo puff, also something I've always wanted to try. Again, this piece is so versatile, i've worn it to the gym, out at a restaurant, in a dress, sneakers, an elegant statement for sure.
