Inspiration behind designing this piece?

AZ: "Mimi" or "Mi" was my nickname at home, which is why our brand character is named "Mi", to remind myself that my inner child is always with me, and that we should make an effort to get closer to our inner child as we grow older. It's one of my first Home pieces, a huge part of this was to experiment my vision in a new way. I've never previously designed any rugs, but design - is a way of life, anything you can think of, you can find a way to bring it to life. I'm so excited to share this piece to serve as a reminder that: your inner child is carrying your roots, the things that make you truly happy at core. Never leave it behind and make time for it.
